This course takes place on our North Fulton Campus. It is a great course for those interested in obtaining project management credentials.

This comprehensive 10 evening course addresses the changes made to the Project Management Institute's (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) exam or CAPM exam in January 2021. The changes reflect the inputs from the Job Task Analysis outcomes, a team selected by PMI. The changes more closely reflect project management practices in a real setting. The task force based their suggestions on their experience and resource needs, not just the PMBOK Guide®, sixth edition. This is a major change from all previous exams. However, the new exam is based on the PMBOK Guide®, sixth edition, Agile Practice Guide, by PMI and interpersonal skills suggested in the Outline on the PMI website.

The previous exams were based on the five (5) Process Groups. This new exam is broken into three (3) Domains: People 42%, Process 50% and Business Environment 8%. Course goals:

Upon completion of the course, the participants will be able to:

Recognize Predictive, Agile and Hybrid approaches Identify and understand the three Domains (People, Process and Business Environment) and their Tasks and Enablers Three Domains, Each domain has Tasks and each Task has Enablers:

You will need to purchase two books: 6th edition Project Management Body of Knowledge and Agile bundle, authored by PMI. You can find these on Amazon or a retail bookstore. These are not available in the campus bookstore.
