A great primer for new and emerging managers.

Management is a skill that is critical for all organizations, especially those that expect to be successful in the future. For some people, management skills come more easily than for others. In all cases, management is a skill that requires continuous learning in order to be as effective as possible. This one day class presents the basics of management for newly appointed managers or those needing a review of basic management skills.

You will learn how to become a manager as well as how to grow as a manager. Through case studies, interactive dialogue and workshop activities, you will develop your personal skills as a manager. You will gain first-hand insight into the critical nature and evolving role of managers in the emerging workplace.

Managers and potential managers, learn the basic skills needed to demonstrate expertise in performing this role in the workplace. Participants will demonstrate and practice basic management skills with a high degree of expertise upon successful completion of this class.
