Six Sigma Yellow Belt training teaches basic improvement techniques, tools and practices that support an organization's improvement process and the Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology.

The following topics are examined:

Basic process dynamics

Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology

Basic techniques and tools

Problem solving

Teams and Six Sigma projects

This class is aimed at employees needing a basic introduction to Six Sigma but not currently involved in conducting or being a team member on Six Sigma project teams. Participants require a basic understanding of the concepts and practices of Six Sigma.

All organizations involved in continual quality improvement are candidates for this type of training, especially those with active Six Sigma activities in progress.

Participants earn a Six Sigma designation for use in the becoming a valuable organizational resource for SS project teams and other improvement activities. Participants will have a fundamental knowledge of Six Sigma concepts, practices, techniques and tools upon completion of this training.
