This two-day, instructor-led class engages participants in what they need to know to manage workplace projects effectively. This class presents the nuts and bolts of project management, including the focus on achieving pre-defined goals of a project while considering the critical constraints, such as time, scope and budget, and requiring the optimization of resources. Participants explore how to identify a project’s stakeholders, establish clear and measurable outcomes, establish a well-defined scope, identify and assess project risks, and create an effective communication plan that includes project status reporting. Students learn how to keep a project on track and lead a project team effectively.
