Six Sigma Green Belt

Six Sigma Green Belts provide organizational process expertise on Six Sigma project teams. This class teaches the knowledge and skills needed for high levels of contribution and participation in improving customer satisfaction and organizational process efficiency.
Participants will learn skills for Six Sigma projects, basic and advanced quality management techniques and tools, process management, basic statistical operations for Six Sigma metrics, and other topics necessary for successful Green Belt performance. Participants also will serve as a team member on an assigned supervised class Six Sigma project. At the conclusion of the program, participants will take a comprehensive Six Sigma Green Belt examination. Hands-on activities, case studies, group discussions, and other learning techniques are part of the learning experience in this class.
Text books required for the first day of class: "The Lean Six Sigma Pocket Toolbook" by Michael George @$12.00. "Six Sigma for Dummies" by Craig Gygi and Bruce Williams @$20.00. These are not sold in the campus bookstore.
